Playing the victim card won’t work, Nawaz Sharif
“Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif said that General Bajwa and General Faiz were behind my disqualification. Playing the victim card won’t work; this is not a victimization issue.
Addressing a video link from a consultative meeting of PML-N in Punjab, Nawaz Sharif stated that nations that do not hold themselves accountable always suffer the consequences, and the message of self-accountability should reach every corner of the country.
He said that our success in the upcoming general elections is inevitable, and those responsible for the accountability drama in Pakistan will also be held accountable. He expressed his desire that such bitterness should not have prevailed in the country, and leaders and workers of PML-N, including Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz, faced jails and hardships without any crime.

In our time, people were getting electricity bills of only a thousand rupees, but today, they are receiving bills of 30,000 rupees. Where should the common people get the money to pay these electricity bills?’
Those who brought the nation to this state are in front of us. Our accountability takes place within a minute. Will there be accountability for those who brought the country to this state?

He added, ‘We made the country a nuclear power. The person who makes the country a nuclear power is called a traitor, is imprisoned, and sentenced to 27 years in anti-terrorism courts. Was making the country’s defence impregnable my fault?’

Nawaz Sharif said, ‘The person who saves the country from load shedding sends four judges to send home a Prime Minister elected by millions of people. General Bajwa and General Faiz were behind this, while their facilitators were Saqib Nisar and Asif Saeed Khosa.’
